FUCKING MOVIES: THE ROAD
So John Hillcoat really is quite boss. His last film The Proposition is subtle and unique. The Road (in essence) reminds me so much of the brilliant and subdued post apoc film Time of the Wolf by Haneke. I really have no problem with the comparrison and would only revel in the similarities because both that would make both films brilliant, quiet and terrifying.
The trailer for The Road is coming and unfortunately it might not be superb:

Regardless of whatever happens we all know what is to be done to sell movie tickets and that’s what will happen but I have serious expectations for this film and really can not wait.
