RE: BK WHOPPER BARS

“Executives say they haven’t finalized the menu, though it could include as many as 10 types of Whoppers, such as the Western Whopper, the Texas Double Whopper and the Angry Whopper, a version topped with spicy onions. One menu sketch has a section called “Pimp Your Whopper,” where patrons can chose from additional toppings like jalapeno peppers, bacon and barbecue sauce.”

“Mr. Klein said it isn’t ‘unthinkable’ that Burger King would offer beer at the Whopper Bars, particularly in some overseas markets where it already sells alcohol. ‘But it’s premature to make any assumptions regarding the U.S. prospects,’ he said.”

1.) Get some nicer ingredients. I really enjoy BBQ sauce and everything but they could do better. What about some garlic aioli and gruyere or something? Jalapeno peppers?! C’mon son!

2.) Serve beer and LIQUOR. Honestly. STEP IT UP. BK with different ingredients that are like seasonal (such as bacon and western and BBQz) and calling a place a bar and not serving liquor are grounds for instant failure when you what you want is an instant classic.
